Why become a Business Member?

There is an increasing awareness of issues around older people, for example, an ageing population, the increasing need for age positive employment policies and the ever present pension crisis.

These are major issues which have a direct impact on both the way businesses operate and on individual older people, one of the key market segments in our community.

We are seeking to develop new partnerships with local business with our ‘Business Membership’ initiative. The annual subscription of £100 is not only a donation but will directly improve the lives of older people within our community.

Your contribution will make a difference. Age Concern Northern Ireland has a direct impact on thousands of older people in real need through a wide range of activities including:

  • Aidcall, a home alarm system that both saves lives and increases the feeling of security.
  • Domiciliary Care, we provide and fund approximately 52,000 hours of care per year to older vulnerable people in their homes and give them the support they deserve.
  • Advice & Information, we have a dedicated team of experts who each have a full casebook of older people facing loneliness, debt management, health and benefits problems.
  • A dedicated internationally recognised residential home which cares for older people with Dementia, and support their families.
