Local Groups
Age Concern Local Groups play a valuable role within the local community, providing often vulnerable older people with access to social opportunities, physical and mental health based activities and essential services such as luncheon clubs.
There are at present 30 Age Concern Local Groups located across Northern Ireland, all engaged in supporting older people to remain active and involved members of the local community. For the locations of Age Concern Local Groups please click here.

Role of Volunteers
Without the hard work and committment of volunteers Age Concern Local Groups would not be able to deliver the services and activities they currently provide.
From volunteer Committee members who manage the organisation of groups and group activities to those who provide practical support in the delivery of events and activities, volunteers are playing a key role in supporting older people across Northern Ireland.
